Privacy policy
We don't ask for your name, we don't use tracking cookies and we don't sell data.
What we collect
- Anonymous counts. We count page views, tool uses and clicks to official lookups (for example "quiz answered"). Each visitor is counted once per page per hour using a one-way hash that is deleted after an hour. We never store your IP address and set no cookies.
- Site statistics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free.
- Email. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.
Tools on this site
The license quiz and reciprocity checker run in your browser. What you type is not sent to us.
Links to official sites
When you open a state board's website, their own privacy policy applies.
Affiliate links
Some pages for contractors include an affiliate link to Jobber, business software for quoting, scheduling and invoicing. If you sign up through it we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The link is labeled, and it never changes our license information. We count clicks on it anonymously, the same way as other counts above (no cookies, no personal data). When you open Jobber, their own privacy policy applies.
Ads
We may show ads (such as Google AdSense) in the future. If we do, Google may use cookies to show ads, and we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
